New Balance MT1010 v2 Preview.

By Robbie on February 8, 2013 — 1 min read

The original version of the MT1010 launched last year as a beefier alternative to the MT110- a shoe that retained the 4mm drop and rock-plate of the ‘110 but added an extra degree of cushioning in the form of a slightly higher stack-height and a RevLite midsole. July 2013 sees the launch of the second version of the shoe in the US- and its looks like a pretty substantial update.

  • New upper with a single layer ripstop mesh, improved toe protection and TPU overlays.
  • Revised Vibram outsole with more aggresive tread pattern and increased protection & traction under the midfoot and arch area.
  • New padded tongue design.
  • July 2013 US release.

The following video, courtesy of runningshoes.com, gets the lowdown on the MT1010v2 from NB’s Brian Gothie…
